ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rosa Cardenas was born in the Dominican Republic, near beautiful beaches and nature scenery. At the age of 8, she moved to New York with her parents and siblings. She soon developed an interest in art. As a child, she painted trees, beaches, and anything related to nature. She also developed a fascination with abstract art, and as she grew older, she began to create abstract paintings.
Rosa earned an associate's degree in Advertising Arts and Computer Graphics but ultimately pursued fine art, her true passion. She married at a young age and had four children. As a stay-at-home mom, she seized every spare moment to practice her art. As her children grew older and left home, Rosa began to paint more frequently and finally decided to exhibit her art and sell her paintings.
